Out tap the fully button and leave a review.

It would literally mean the world to me.

OK, this isn't about me, this is about you.

So let's take a breath and begin.

When you're ready, welcome another deep breath in through your nose and sigh out through your mouth.

0:42

Let your eyes come to a gentle close and take a few moments all to yourself.

This is your time.

1:03

This is your opportunity to find peace.

But if you have found your way to this sleep meditation tonight because the turning of your own thoughts is disturbing, you know that you are not alone.

1:21

Know that you are exactly where you need to be.

Center your attention on the sound of my voice and let's begin to ground you back in your body in the present moment.

1:40

Breathe in, and as you exhale, I invite you to settle a little deeper into the soft mattress beneath you tonight.

Allow yourself to be held, to be supported as you drift easily from moment to moment.

2:08

As you breathe in, notice the pillows supporting your head, and as you breathe out, perhaps you find yourself sinking a little deeper into it.

Inhale, noticing the way your shoulders are bunched up by your ears, and as you exhale, let them go, enjoying a moment of release and relief.

2:49

When you're ready, send your attention into your core.

Feel the way your lungs expand and open out on your in breath, and as you exhale, notice the way your belly softens.

3:08

Breathe in once more, allowing your lungs to stretch out, creating more and more space within for you.

As you exhale, let the body lead you.

Let the belly soften.

3:26

Let the hips soften.

Let the heart soften and let the head soften.

It is safe to relax.

No matter how intrusive your thoughts may feel, you will always be safe in your body.

3:49

Take a moment to let that thought wash through you.

You are safe.

You are safe to relax.

You are safe in your body.

4:12

As you welcome another deep breath in through your nose, notice the way the sheets feel beneath your hands and feet.

Notice the way your breath feels as it drifts in and out.

4:36

Notice the way you feel now that you have settled back into your body for perhaps the first time in a while.

You are here.

You are home.

4:54

You are right where you're supposed to be.

Draw a calming breath in and out as you take a moment to get reacquainted with your body.

5:17

When you're ready, in your mind's eye, visualize yourself sitting beneath the sun on the golden sands of the beach.

Let a warm breath wash in, and as you exhale, feel yourself letting go of the day that has passed.

5:42

Here, in this moment, you are at peace.

The sun is warm against your skin, drawing you deeper and deeper into relaxation with every passing moment.

6:02

The sand is soft beneath you, and ahead of you the ocean stretches out.

That endless blue is interrupted only by the horizon, a perfect crisp line showing you the gentle curvature of the earth.

6:30

Take the time to breathe this moment in and out.

Allow yourself to truly relax here on the sands of your subconscious, Far in the distance, on the horizon itself, boats drift by, travelling east to West, West to east, north to South and South by Southwest.

7:15

Those boats are the physical embodiment of your thoughts.

Every easy breath in and out has drawn you to this moment, has helped you create this distance between you and your thoughts.

7:38

And as I count down from 10, you're going to find that they drift out of reach entirely, disappearing over the horizon to leave you in the perfect piece of the present. 10, take a deep breath in.

8:00

Nine Sigh out as you notice the boats turning toward the horizon 8.

Breathe in and prepare to let go 7.

8:17

Exhale and watch them beginning to drift farther and farther away from you 6.

Inhale as they become nothing more than dots on the horizon 5.

8:36

Exhale as the first boats begin to vanish beyond it 4.

Breathe in, as you say, a final farewell to them three.

Exhale as the last ones disappear beyond the horizon. 2 Take a moment to enjoy the perfect calm of the Seas.

9:08

One notice that calm and quiet beginning to settle within you.

Tonight there is nothing and no one to disturb you.

9:26

You are at peace and as you let go of that visualisation and settle back into your body, allow yourself to breathe a little deeper tonight.

9:43

There is only the calm and quiet within to accompany you as you drift deeper and deeper into sleep.

You've just listened to a guided meditation for letting go, designed to help you stop overthinking.
