Let's get into it tonight.

Lean into this gentle guided meditation with a simple breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Allow yourself any last minute adjustments.

Tonight, let's prioritise your comfort over all else.

Breathe in and out as you give yourself over to this practice.

Draw a deep, calming breath in through your nose, and as you exhale, ask the body to sink just a little deeper into the soft mattress beneath you.

This is your time, so take a moment here to breathe, to simply be as you find stillness for perhaps the first time all day, as you welcome your next breath in and out, notice the tension in your head, rooted deep in your mind and wound up in the muscles of your neck.

Think into it.

Allow yourself a few final moments to feel it.

Perhaps you'd even like to tense those muscles a little more as your next breath washes in.

Gather up all that tension and let your out breath be a sigh of relief as you let go of it and allow yourself a moment of total release.

Notice the difference.

Now tune into your body, breathing into that feeling of release, and as you exhale, letting yourself sink down a little deeper into relaxation.

If you haven't already, let your eyes come to a gentle close, and in your mind's eye, I invite you to visualize the summer sky.

It's deep blue above you, and though the day is a warm one and the sun's rays are warming your skin, helping your muscles to relax, easing into your joints and coaxing them toward release, the occasional cloud does drift across the sky above you.

Those clouds are small, light, and almost inconsequential.

They do nothing to dim the day or interrupt the feeling of deep relaxation that has settled upon you as you bathe in that golden sunlight for tonight.

Those clouds drifting across the sky and the visual embodiment of your thoughts.

Perhaps they float across the sky from time to time into your field of awareness, but just as quickly do they drift out of it, continuing on their journey.

If thoughts of the day drift into your mind tonight, know that just like the clouds, they are only passing through.

And as you breathe deeply and sigh out in relief, feeling the warmth of the sun ebb into your muscles, perhaps you find that they're easier and easier to forget about with every passing moment.

Those clouds cast no shadows.

They haven't the weight to them, and they never linger long enough to.

So breathe in the calm of this moment.

And as you exhale, I invite you to let go of the day.

I invite you to let those racing thoughts simply pass you by.

Breathe in, noticing any last lingering tension in your back, your shoulders, your stomach, and your hips.

As you exhale, allow yourself a moment to lean into it, to clench up, to compress, to feel through it.

Inhale and exhale as you send your attention inward to the very core of your being, to the root of your consciousness and the heart of your intuition.

You are clearing a path for your intuition.

You are releasing tension until your divine wisdom can be heard.

There are no thoughts, worries or outside opinions that your intuition is willing to negotiate with.

Free yourself from racing thoughts tonight as you make the commitment to your intuition, to your body, to listen to and honour it, to allow it to protect you.

Feel your thoughts slow to a stop, for there is nothing to discuss, nothing to consider, nothing to wonder or worry about.
